1. Purpose of the platform

Welcome to PrepMyPTE.com (the "Website", the "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Platform.

PrepMyPTE.com is an online educational platform that provides tools, resources, and AI-assisted scoring services to help users prepare for PTE Core and other Pearson English proficiency tests.

• AI-powered mock tests and practice activities.
• Automated performance scoring.
• Access to preparation materials, learning content, and feedback tools.

2. Eligibility

By using this Platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that all information you provide during registration is accurate and up to date.

3. Account creation and access

To use most of our services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Be responsible for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities.

4. One-time plans and payments

PrepMyPTE.com offers one-time paid preparation plans, mock-test packs and coaching plans that may include mock tests, AI credits or coaching services.

Purchases and balances

• You agree to pay all applicable fees displayed at checkout and authorise our secure payment partners to process the payment.
• AI scoring and full mock tests are limited by the balances granted by the purchased product.
• Purchases are one-time and do not renew automatically.
• Once AI credits or mock-test credits are used, additional scoring or full mock tests require another eligible purchase.

Account and plan access

• Your account does not expire and remains active unless it is closed or terminated under these Terms.
• A preparation or coaching plan permanently unlocks the plan-only templates and predictions associated with your account, even after consumable balances reach zero.
• Coaching is delivered separately from the Platform. A stated coaching period describes the service commitment and does not limit Platform account access.

Refund requests

Because our services provide access to digital tools and AI scoring, purchases are generally final. Refund requests must be submitted to support and are reviewed manually based on the circumstances, including any services or balances already consumed. There is no self-service refund function on the Platform. Any approved refund, reversal, chargeback or payment dispute may result in purchased balances and related access being revoked.

5. AI scoring and performance results

Our AI evaluation tools, including services provided by third-party partners, provide automated feedback and scoring estimates for practice and guidance only. They do not represent official Pearson PTE results.

• We do not guarantee a specific score or result on an official examination.
• AI-generated feedback may vary and may contain inaccuracies or omissions.
• Feedback should supplement, not replace, your own study, judgement or qualified human guidance.

6. Intellectual property rights

Content, software, logos, graphics, designs and text made available through the Platform are owned by PrepMyPTE or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

• Do not copy, reproduce, sell or redistribute protected materials without written consent.
• Do not reverse engineer, modify or create derivative works from our software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Unauthorised use may result in account suspension or termination and other available remedies.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for illegal, deceptive or fraudulent activity.
• Share, sell or transfer your account or credentials.
• Circumvent payment, credit, access or security controls.
• Use bots, scraping, automated requests or other methods that disrupt, overload or harm the Platform.
• Copy our services, content or data to create a competing product or dataset.

A violation may result in immediate restriction, suspension or termination of access and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities or service providers.

8. Coaching and human support

If you purchase a coaching plan, you agree to respect agreed session times and communication guidelines and not to record, publish or distribute coaching sessions or materials without permission.

Scheduling, rescheduling and delivery arrangements are agreed directly with the user and remain subject to reasonable availability.

9. Third-party services

The Platform relies on third-party services such as payment processors, AI and scoring providers, hosting, storage, email and analytics tools. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for third-party systems outside our reasonable control, but we select and use providers as needed to deliver and protect the Platform.

10. Liability and warranties

The Platform and its services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrepMyPTE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Users remain responsible for their study decisions, examination registration and results.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Ending your account

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, compromise its security or create risk for PrepMyPTE, its users or service providers.

You may request account deletion by contacting support. Ending an account does not automatically create a right to a refund, and provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.

12. Changes, privacy and contact

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, risks or legal requirements. The current version will be published on this page, and material changes may also be communicated through the Platform or by email.
