IRCC converts Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing separately.
A strong score in one ability does not compensate for a required minimum missed in another.
Your Express Entry program and NOC TEER category determine the minimum level you need.

Is PTE Core accepted by IRCC for Express Entry?
Yes. IRCC lists PTE Core as an accepted English test for Express Entry. You must take the Core option—not PTE Academic—and meet the requirements of your specific program.
Does IRCC use my overall PTE Core score?
IRCC converts the four individual ability scores—speaking, listening, reading and writing—to CLB levels. Meeting an overall PTE score alone does not prove that every required ability threshold is met.
How long are PTE Core results valid for Express Entry?
IRCC says results must be less than two years old both when you complete your Express Entry profile and when you submit your permanent-residence application.
Can PrepMyPTE tell me whether I qualify for immigration?
No. PrepMyPTE helps you prepare for the language test. Eligibility and application decisions depend on current IRCC rules and your complete circumstances; consult IRCC or a licensed professional when needed.
Can I also take TCF Canada?
